how to find file for bookmarks to send to external stick? read everything and just can not find it or way to do it.
Ok i just want to send my bookmarks to my memory stick. i can not find the file! i have read how to and can not find it. find some backup ones but not my list. what it says it is will not open it just keep asking me to pick how to open it.
there must be a good way to do this in a couple moves without having to know secret names of these files. i do not want to to loses my bookmarks.
so why not add a update so people can do this on there own like in older versions.
Like under bookmarks a button to send bookmarks to memory stick, email or anywhere they want the list to also be.

Firefox keeps automatically created compressed .jsonlz4 JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder.
- bookmarks-YYYY-MM-DD_<item-count>_<hash>.jsonlz4
If you create an uncompressed JSON backup manually then make sure to add the .json file extension.
- Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup
It might be better to manually create a HTML backup.
To open the Bookmarks Manager, press the Alt or F10 key bring up the tool bar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control>(Mac:<Command>) <Shift> B.
Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup. Select Export Bookmarks To HTML, and follow the prompts and save it to a HTML file. Copy the file to another computer. Repeat the instructions above, BUT select Import Bookmarks From HTML,
These can't get your data back, but will help in the future.
These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox
FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) {web link} FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backup of files that you choose.
