Firefox 41.0.1 under Mac OSX 10.11 crashing regularly with "invalid context 0x0" errors, then "Service exited with abnormal code:1"
When viewing Flash Player video content in full screen mode, clicking anywhere in the video window crashes Firefox. Disabling add-ons has no effect. This happens less reproducibly when not in full screen mode.
From Console, the last few lines before the crash are:

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
While still in Safe Mode,
Some of your crash reports weren’t sent to the Mozilla Servers.
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it and select Submit.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.
Are you sure that a Flash player is used and not the HTML5 media player?
You can try to set this pref to false on the about:config page to see if that has effect.
- media.apple.mp4.enabled
HTML5 media (YouTube) works fine. It's the Flash stuff (mlb.com, news channels, thedailyshow, etc.) that blows up.
Problem exists in safe mode as well.

One more for you: crash in safe mode, with single web page open: bp-ab100776-4c2e-4984-9598-2ce8b2151011 10/11/2015 2:51 PM
When not in safe mode, the crash usually occurs when entering full-screen, but sometimes there is a short period (<1 min.) of full-sreen play. During any such period, it will crash instantly upon a mouse click.
In safe mode, the crash occurs when exiting full-screen playback ('esc' key). Full-screen play is otherwise stable to mouse clicks.
That last crash could be hardware acceleration related.
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
Acceleration is off, and the OS is the newest release (El Capitan).
