IT'S SLOW...LOCKS UP........DELETES FILES BY ITSELF. DENIES ACCESS TO YAHOO E-MAIL ON INTERNET EXPLORER BUT ALLOWS ON FIREFOX. MISTYPES LETTERS DURING E-MAILS USING YAHOO OR VERIZON EMAIL. i WOULD HAVE BEEN IF YOU WOULD HAVE ADVISED ME BEFORE YOU DESTROYED MY SYSTEM. THERE IS VERY LITTLE THAT STILL WORKS AS IT USED TO

Hi

Thank you for your question. Please appreciate that writing in capitals can be regarded as shouting.

Firefox is tested to make sure that it will not ruin a PC. Many people (including myself) use early versions to test to make sure that Firefox will not destroy computers. Downloaded from the official site, it should be free of malware and not cause any issues with your computer.

It may be the case that your computer is already (or if you downloaded Firefox from an unofficial site) infected with malware. This article has some good general guidance.

I hope this helps, but if not, please can you clearly set out the Firefox related issue you are having and we will do our best to help.

While Firefox does have problems once in a while, sometimes the problem turns out to be from something outside of Firefox.

Did you download FF from Mozilla.org ? Download Firefox For All languages And Systems v42 {web link}

What other problems do you see?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
