where are my passwords located?
The only guidance i could find was this "Sync your Firefox bookmarks and browsing history in iOS" page, which i read and re-read, and also browsed the forums, and googled the question too, but after hours of searching in vain... i still can't find where to access my passwords on my iPhone. I do have the firefox for iOS installed, and i am syncing it from my PC. Across the top of that iOS window, i see these icons:
the one with 4 squares (=my the star(bookmarks) the watch (history) the cloud and the book (reading list).
But i do not see any one that would go to my passwords. Please-- where can i find this?
Thanks for any help!!

For the first question, yes. For example I tested Gmail and the auto complete username and password were already auto completed. The only time I have seen it happen where you would need to start typing is if there was more than one account stored for that website.
As for a new website. I think it does sync both ways for passwords. (just not bookmarks at the moment)
Cannot be managed from the iphone is correct as you interpreted it. Have you seen a different behavior? ...other than editing, I assumed no, but happy to follow up on other actions :-)

Hi coatli, The passwords cannot be managed as a feature on Firefox for iOS, however it can complete the passwords that are stored for a particular site as far as I understand. Yes I just confirmed. It is Android that recently added the Manage Logins feature. Stay tuned for password management next year.
Cheers!
hello guigs, thanks so much! :) i look forward to that feature next year.
just a clarifying q, please: how exactly does this current completion of passwords for a particular site work? i mean, for example, if i save a password from my PC for xyz.com, then next time i visit xyz.com from my iphone via firefox, firefox will automatically fill in the password blank for me? Or, would i have to start typing in the password, and firefox completes it? Or, can i actually visit a new website from my iphone via firefox for the first time, and firefox will allow me to save the password that i create when signing up for a new account for that website?...
i'm guessing that by "cannot be managed" you mean i cannot edit my passwords that i already have, right?
(and i would have to do that through my PC if i needed to?)
does managing also include any other actions than editing?
also, you say "that are stored for a particular site ", so does this mean i could save a password via safari on mac desktop for xyz.com, and will then be able to visit that site via firefox on iphone, and still have firefox fill in the password blank for me?
thanks again, i really appreciate it!
