When I click on the full screen icon of a YouTube video in a Google+ post, the browser goes full screen but it doesn't display the video. Instead, it shows Google+ posts in 3 columns (on my 27" iMac running Firefox 43.0.3 on OS X 10.11.2). Also, the red, yellow and green dots in the top left corner of the browser are not accessible and the ESC key doesn't exit the full screen view. The only way I found to exit the full screen view is to quit Firefox and re-start it!

UPDATE: I tried again and this time the colored spinning wheel appeared for about 5 seconds whilst the screen went completely black. I pressed the ESC key and Firefox appeared in full screen view with Google+ posts displayed in 3 columns. The OS X top menu bar was inaccessible and the red, yellow and green dots usually in the top left corner of the browser weren't accessible either. However, and this is what I wanted to check: I was able to exit full screen mode by selecting the full screen option after clicking on the far right menu icon in Firefox.

I still need to figure out why the videos don't play in full screen. I don't have any problems viewing videos in full screen directly from YouTube.com.
