i am trying to change color of Firefox page from all white. I have gone to Tools, Options, Content, Colors. When I click to change the text color all the samples are white. No colors to choose. It would not show on the capture but when I click on a box to choose colors, all the boxes are white.

Could you temporarily change the drop-down that says "Always" to "Never" and OK that change. Hopefully this will restore the normal background colors so you can go back into the Colors dialog, choose the color you want, and then switch it back to Always. Does that work?

The problem might be the theme you are using. Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open the Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Appearance. Then select Default.

NoSquint {web link} NoSquint allows you to adjust the text-only and full-page (both text and images) zoom levels as well as color settings both globally (for all sites) and per site.

Thanks for your help, jscher2000. Your suggestions worked like a charm. NOW, one more little bittsy question. On the top of my page where all the icons are located along with thw search space, link address, etc., i have run out of space for my icons on one line. Is there a way to create another line to add more icons so I can see them?

Many of us are using; Classic Theme Restorer (Customize Australis) {web link} Restore squared tabs, appmenu, add-ons bar, small button view and more on Australis UI (Windows/MacOSX/Linux + Fx 29+).

This will restore many of the things the last upgrades took away.

Hi zetuskid, I don't know of a way to add a second line to the main toolbar. Some add-ons may support adding a separate custom toolbar. Fred has mentioned the "Swiss Army Knife" of interface customization which probably has this feature.

You can consider to move the search bar to the "3-bar" menu button drop-down list via Customization mode or via the right-click context menu of the magnifier icon (Move to Menu). This will still allow to access the search bar via its keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+K).

Classic Theme Restorer can create new toolbars, and restore the old add-ons bar. There is also; Vertical Toolbar {web link} Adds a vertical toolbar at the edge of the window.

You can look at the NoSquint extension to set font size (text/page zoom) and text color on web pages.
