I just installed thunderbird but I can not get rid of the blue window from thunderbird that takes up HALF of the inbox screen. How do you get rid of this!!!!

This pesky window from "Welcome to Thunderbird" and asks for a contribution etc that overlays the Inbox list of email headers. It will show you some email headers above this blue window but they are not your latest emails that are covered by the blue box. You can scroll the inbox window but it immediately pops back to the earlier position and you can not access those emails! THERE IS NO CLOSE ICON ON THIS BLUE WINDOW. It is as though you must "contribute" or Thunderbird will not function without the interference of this "WELCOME" box.

Thunderbird does not have a contribution request. Please post a screen shot of what you are seeing per https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-create-screenshot-my-problem
