Tried to use Audible (non-Amazon) log on. They say delete all history. Still doesn't work. Does on Chrome. What's up?

I have an old Audible account. When I log on I have to go to the bottom of the page for old account log ons (they want you to put everything under an Amazon account). This has worked for a few years. Today it wouldn't accept my Audible logon. Called. They said I had to delete all of my Firefox history to logon. Told me to try Chrome. Chrome worked fine. I have since deleted all Firefox history and it still won't let me logon to Audible with my pre-Amazon ID and password. Is there an Amazon-Firefox problem? Please advise. thanks; Steve

Deleting history would have no effect as to how the browser interacts with websites. I think this is what they meant;

Remove History For One Site Open the History Manager <Control><Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any passwords / settings.
