text and graphics on home page get larger over time without adjustment by me
I did not adjust font or text size or graphics size, but since the last upload of the latest version of Firefox, the home page has gotten larger and larger. It is irritating when you dont want or need that. This happened with the previous two versions and there was a very lame fix suggested and it did not work. I am not online to play but to work and this is irritating. It often cuts things off like drop down menus, words at the bottom of some pages, etc. What is the real fix, or do you need to do some programming?

This looks like your first question under this username, so what was the answer you got before??
Is this a zoom issue, that the page is getting progressively more and more zoomed in for no apparent reason? You can check the zoom level on the page using the menu control that looks like this:
- | 100% | +
The center number is the current zoom level and clicking it resets the zooms level to 100%. You also can reset by holding down the Ctrl key and tapping 0 (that's a zero).
Is that the explanation or possibly part of it?
Are you aware of how Page Zoom has worked since Firefox 4.0? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/font-size-and-zoom-increase-size-of-web-pages#w_zoom-in-and-out-of-a-website
Could be what you use for your Homepage. If you need to do much scrolling on your Homepage and happen to hit the Ctrl key when you are scrolling, Firefox will scroll IN or OUT depending on whether you are scrolling down (for scrolling IN) or scrolling up (which would scroll OUT).
Or maybe you are holding the Ctrl key to mark & highlight multiple lines of text for copy&pasting and need to scroll down a bit to get the last few lines of text, as works in text or word processing programs that don't have a "Page Zoom" feature.
Also, the Ctrl key can be used with the +, -, and 0 (zero) key to scroll IN, OUT, and restore the zoom level to default.
And the zoom level is saved per domain, so it remembers your preference for zoom level for each website.
