How do I get the Tenvis, "TVSClientOCXSetup" to install the OcxWebPlugin in Firefox?
I have installed Tenvis TH692 security cameras in the barn. I want to use the live video feed to monitor the status of the animals in the barn using browser but to do this it requires an OCXplugin. The cameras are supposed to work in all the major browsers, including Firefox, but I cannot get the plugin to install in Firefox. To install the plugin I need to run the TVSClientOCXSetup to install the OCXWebPlugin. When I run the setup program it seems to run properly but there is no appropriate plugin installed either in the Firefox plugin or extension screens. I would like to continue to use Firefox (the live video can be viewed in Google Chrome) rather than Chrome as my default browser. I am presently using Firefox Version 53.0.2(32bit) under Windows 10. How do I install the plugin in Firefox?

OCX usually refers to an ActiveX control and this only works in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Does this camera state that Firefox is supported.
Anyway Firefox 52 and later releases only support the Shockwave Flash plugin and disable all other plugins. You can use the Firefox 52 ESR release if you need to use other plugins.
Why-do-Java-Silverlight-Adobe-Acrobat-and-other-plugins-no longer work.

Yes Tenvis does say that the cameras and plugin are supported by Firefox. A screenshot that their support group sent me on another problem used Firefox but I do not know what version of Firefox they were using. I asked them whether the cameras were supported in Firefox 53 but as yet I have not received an answer back. I will try Firefox 52 ESR and see what happens. Do I have to uninstall Firefox 53 before installing Firefox 53 ESR?
Consider using the third party Firefox Portable. That may be installed on the hdd or on a memory stick and used as a separate additional browser. Before that upgrades un about t year set it to not upgrade.
Use your ordinary fully updated Firefox Release for your ordinary browsing. Keep the Firefox portable Fx52 for use only with the camera.
