I have been using Send Later in Thunderbird for many years Recently Send Later now displays the time for sending a message using AM PM whereas previously it was 24 hr (which I prefer)

I wrote to the author of Send Later and received this in reply

Send Later has no control over how time is displayed in its dialog window. It uses a time-picker widget that is built into Thunderbird, and Thunderbird controls the display format of the widget. If it has recently changed for you, then that's either a change in Thunderbird or a change in your underlying OS display settings; it's unfortunately not something I can change.

So how do I get it to go back to the 24 hr clock display?

Sierra 10.12.5 Thunderbird 52.1.1(64 bit)

no idea...change your operating system time display would be my guess. That is based on what you posted. Thunderbird does not format the display of time as such.

My format is 24 hr in the system and even Thunderbird displays it as 24 hr (in message lists et al) the only place it doesn't is in the Send Later listing and according to the author of Send Later that is set by Thunderbird using the built in widget

As a test. I changed the clock to AM PM and Thunderbird then displayed AM PM in the message listing. I changed the clock back to 24 hr and Thunderbird displays 24 hr in the message listing. But the time in the Send Later dialogue doesn't change and as above, the author of Send Later states that that time is set by a built in Thunderbird widget

Your guess doesn't work
