"How to STOP your annoying POP-UP to assist in migration to version 57.0 when I am there already?"
You have screwed up my system by not allowing me to make my own decision as to when to do the update to version 57.0 (64b). I was using "PasswordMaker" as my password creator and now you will not allow me to use my *.rdf file with this new version of FF. With over 180 passwords for different areas that require the use of a password, am now very near DEAD. Have even attempted to do the "Import" thingy and things are not done correctly by FF. On top of that you 'force fed' my system the latest update and there still is this 'POP-UP' that keeps showing up to "Assist me in getting moved to the latest version, which I am already using." Why can't you see I am already on that latest version AND do not need your assistance. NOW WHAT? Thank you for reading my message TIA, CU L8R, NTLS "LoneWanderer"

Firefox Support Volunteers have nothing to do with your forced update. If not running version 57.0.2 then have missed some fixes.
Since you have not turned on send info to Mozilla within Firefox before posting I have only 57.0 which may be right or maybe wrong. No info like being able to look at your Video Card Drivers and see issues and provide a link to download some new ones or a generic driver to replace the 2012 drivers running as a example, Can not see what extensions your running which can cause issues. So no have no idea.

As to updating do so as that is not going to go away until you do.

I am a very private person and VERY SECURITY conscious as I managed a computer system for the Type II PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) for our Air Force Base here were I live. Amounting to approx. 80 Million Dollars worth of test equipment. I do all my own repairs as well as for friends with problems, have been on the net longer than Windows or the 'www' (World Wide Web). Have solved issues with my system that Microsoft would not give me any clues as to where to look for the ERROR. I am a Journeyman Electronics Techy with over 65 years experience. I do my own troubleshooting and solve my own issues after analyzing my problems.
The FORCED fed update was not appreciated. I attempted to post a question for the FF crew and could not get their system for reports to have less than 5-6 thousand suggestions. So went to the 'Community' to see if anyone would attempt to give me some assistance. "NO" reports are not sent to Mozilla, as stated I do my own troubleshooting and repair. Not broadcasting over the net any issues I have has helped to keep me from being infected, to my knowledge that has never happened to my system.

Welcome. Just some info for you. 57 brought multiprocessor in and 58 is soon to be released I would think do to the beta version #, it will bring Multi-Thread Support. Full Version Installers can always be found here :

Accepted, you are a little ahead of me in time spent and knowledge.
WOW! you were very fast in getting this together, now I have maybe a month of reading and testing. Guess what I will be doing on Xmas day through the New Year. Have some bills needing to be paid in the first week of the new year, may need to burn some midnight oil as well as some early morn as well. Only sleep about 0.5 hour to maybe two (2) - three (3) hours per night. My bed partner is demanding she get some sleep so this will be on hold until morn. She is a Yorkshire terrier about 5#, she is my Wife's dog, now mine. Wife passed in May,2013. No, not looking for sympathy, just stating the fact, one of the features of our lives on this planet, it is what the living as well as survivors need to learn to live with.

Hello again : Ya I have everything Notepad and just copy/paste. Still trying to cover all the angles so do not type so much, wrists are bad.
Should not do to bad on the reading I think as is larger font and easy to read. Is why it is a how to. If was to tech no one could follow. Easy stuff.
It is just the actually work that is the slow part. If look long enough is pretty easy also. :=} yes I know about bed parters. Had to put my cat down a few weeks back. Christmas does not feel the same with out having to open and close the door all the time.

I am a top poster when quoting another's post. OMG! Have done the removals and reinstall to 64bit local, have not had the time to read nor visit any of the links provided by "U"!
Am attempting some testing at this time, have not done the 'Import' of PasswordMaker's RDF file yet. WOW much work and hope things will be better now. Just a quick update.
On top of this problem am a follower of David Wilcock and received an email from him yesterday that took the ENTIRE day to read, my fault but am happy to hear some of his input. If you are not aware give me an addy to send you a copy if you want.

I have worked in the 'about;config' for many years without any problems. Now your list is rather short as to what we may adjust, plus when attempting to widen or slide 'Status' and other columns to the right, will not work, it keeps moving to the left. Columns can be reordered and restored from the right column menu drop down just cannot click the left divider on 'Status' and move it to the right.

Have reinstalled v57.0.2 64bit most all seems normal so far. Have followed the "Import" of the RDF for PasswordMaker saving those that I want and need. YET, none of them are showing up under "Options" after reopening of FF the only part showing is #1. Default and #2. Alphanumeric and nothing else. I know you are not supporting any of the Extensions, are there any volunteers that may have an idea?

Have redone the "IMPORT" and NOTHING is being saved, redone twice (2x) plus some individual websites and NOTHING is being saved, YES! I did click the save RB at the bottom even did the REMOVE RB as well and neither one has any effect. On one website after setting up all required fields got it to input the password and posted a message and logged out going on to other issues and then returning to that same webpage and there were not any entries for the Password and had to start all over.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem. Never work with original files.
