I have a number of custom keyboard shortcuts for my site that run off of the CTRL + ALT combination. The most recent one I implemented (CTRL + ALT + W) done not work. I've search to see if that is a reserved Firefox shortcut but nothing leads me to believe that it is. Also, while CTRL + ALT + W does not work, other shortcuts like CTRL + ALT + M do work, which leads me to believe that the problem is not with the CTRL + ALT combination itself. I wonder if I am running into a collision with CTRL + W or CTRL + SHIFT + W. I'm running 58.0.1, 64 bit on Windows 10.

Did you look at the shortcut properties to see what the combo keys are? cntrl+W and cntrl+Shft+W aren't the same combo.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but like I said in my original question, I could not find any documented evidence that ctrl + alt + w is reserved for something else. I suspect a bug in in Firefox where the listeners for ctrl + W and/or ctrl + shift + w are swallowing my ctrl + alt + w keystroke.
