synching issues with 3rd party websites/pages
This has been a recurring issue. I go to a webpage and click on a 'link' but the link does not work. I contact the owner of the page, and we troubleshoot, and using a different browser works just fine (in my case: Edge). This has happened about 6 times with 6 different vendors and other 3rd party webpages. One suggested I turn of an Adblocker to test; that solved the problem. But I shouldn't have to turn off ad blockers in order for Firefox to function in a way that other browsers do.
This may be more in the category of 'proposed function fixes' rather than responding with a 'fix' to my problem.

disable tracking protection:
