Why can't I download ad block plus. When I try to download it I get the message "The add-on could not be downloaded because of a connection failure". Solution?

The firefox extension for ad plus doesn't work for youtube. It has to be downloaded from their site https://adblockplus.org/ I tried disabling and removing all the other ad blockers and then try download it would same thing. Why is this happening?

I am able to download and install the extension from the link you provided.

Do you have an anti-virus/anti-malware program installed? Try disabling that to see if it helps.

Also, have you tried the steps in Unable to install add-ons (extensions or themes)?
