Thunderbird will only download the same email message for the past 5 days

For 5 days, the only email Thunderbird will download from my ISP is one that was sent by LivingSocial.com 5 days ago. When it downloads, i can have 20 copies of the same email in my box. If I check my mail by clicking Get Messages, the info at the bottom of the app will say I've got 50 or 60 messages, but none will download. The email will be delivered to my cell phone (Android e-mail app) as it always has, but not my computer. It was working fine until 5 days ago and I don't think anything was updated.

Open the account in webmail, delete the LivingSocial message, empty the Trash, then see if the other messages download to TB.
