How do I drag a 'link' that I've saved to Thunderbird E-mail?
I often save 'links' that I like as bookmarks so I can later drag them directly into a Thunderbird E-mail. I did this all the time.
Suddenly, I can only drag the link and it adds as an 'attachment' instead of being embedded in the E-mail so that the receiver can click on link and view it from there. Why can't I do this anymore?
I have Mac OS 10.13.6 and Thunderbird 91.2 versions.''''

The write window is now a drag and drop target for attachments. See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/new-thunderbird-91#w_new-user-interface-for-adding-attachments
You'll have to rely on copy and paste going forward.

That's too bad. I liked doing it the 'old' way. It was easier to drag a link into the E-mail and the reader can then click on it and not have to open it up as an attachment.
Why in the world did they change that?
It wasn't intentional, that was a bug and has been fixed in update 91.3.
