Firefox will not respond.
I have been using Firefox since Day 1 and never had an issue. Earlier today while searching, the screen went blank except for the menu strip across the top. I closed it down and restarted and it goes back to a blank screen with the menu strip. I click on any item in the menu and choose a sub-item and there is no response. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times and always get a message saying, "VCRUNTIME140_1.dll missing". The install finishes but when I restart I get the same blank screen with the menu bar. I am running Windows 11 on a Samsung NP750TDA. Please help. I cannot go to MS Edge.

It sounds like there could be an issue with the VCRUNTIME140_1.dll file, which is a system file that Firefox may depend on. Here are a few steps that you can try to resolve the issue:
1)Install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable: The VCRUNTIME140_1.dll file is part of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package. Try downloading and installing the latest version of the package from the Microsoft website. 2)Check for Windows updates: Make sure that your Windows 11 operating system is up-to-date. Go to "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Windows Update" and check for any available updates. 3)Run a virus scan: Sometimes, malware or viruses can cause issues with system files. Run a full virus scan on your system to check for any issues. 4)Reset Firefox settings: Try resetting Firefox settings to their default values. Click on the three lines in the upper right-hand corner to open the Firefox menu, then click on "Help" > "Troubleshooting Information." Click on the "Refresh Firefox" button. 5)Run Firefox in Safe Mode: Start Firefox in Safe Mode to disable any extensions or custom settings that could be causing the issue. Click on the three lines in the upper right-hand corner to open the Firefox menu, then click on "Help" > "Restart with Add-ons Disabled."
Did you recently uninstall an application that was using Visual C+ runtime components?
You can check for issues caused by a corrupted or incomplete Visual C++ installation that is missing runtime components (Redistributable Packages) required by Firefox, especially VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.
See "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022":

You may also have to install the Visual Studio 2013 Redistributable Package. You need to reboot the computer.
