I have exported bookmarks in XML en went on a well deserved vacation. At my holiday address I found out that there is no possibility to import the created XML-file.

It doesn't make sense that Firefox only supports the export, not the import!

Firefox can only import and export a bookmarks HTML file, so you will have to convert this XML file to an HTML file. You can search internet for a suitable conversion tool.
