Under Thunderbird v128.1.1esr the passwords of accounts couldn't be saved via password manager. The list of saved passwords is empty. But if I run Thunderbird in debug mode the list is shown correctly. What can I do to not been prompted everytime for passwords ?

Do you mean troubleshoot mode/

Check Error Console for warnings or errors when you open the password maanger or go through a password prompt
