I have used Thunderbird for a number of years without issue. Recently added an email account to it. That account will sync for a time then stops. This seems to be a pc only issue. I am stumped as to why only this account would be having this issue. Is there a limit to the number of accounts that will work?

I assume this is an IMAP account, right? How do you know it stops syncing? Does it show an error message or it just stops showing messages that you know are on the server?

Go to the account Server Settings and click on the Advanced button. What does it show for Maximum number of server connections to cache? Set it to a lower number and see whether that makes a difference. Thunderbird may be trying to establish more connections than the server allows.
