A website is rejecting uploaded pdf files with the error message that it is not a pdf file. The site accepts the same files uploaded with IE from the same computer. It also accepts the file uploaded with Firefox from another running Windows 7 Professional.

I think this has to do with the corruption of a mime file. Find the ".ini" file in your Firefox directory and get rid of reference to pdf's.
