the small icons beside my bookmarks, logos for each site keep clearing when i close firefox. when i open the bookmark the logo comes back while im on the site, but when i close it again, it goes again, why is this?

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode.
Using Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear item when you close Firefxo can also cause problems, so you can try to uncheck items in you use that feature.
