seems to not work with Internet Explorer and Chrome. Maybe something on the Freerice site ? (I tried disabling adblock etc, no effect)

just checked facebook - says "Freerice Hi Ankur, there is a problem with the API on the toolbar that the developers are working on to resolve. We should have the matter resolved shortly! Yesterday at 03:30" hth
