I have just downloaded the newe version for firefox, now is my coputer slower than ever before! I installed 2 times now but it does not help

Is the computer slower or just Firefox? If it's "only" Firefox it may help to deactivate Shockwave Flash which you have installed as a plugin. I had Firefox loading pages very (!) slow, disabling shockwave solved the problem perfectly.
