On the new version of Firefox 4.0.1., I have to re-enter my password every time I go back to the same site. IE: UPS site, Facebook, and lots of other sites that I frequent, I have to re-enter my password as if it was the first time I went there. I have the "Save all passwords to Sites" check marked in the settings.

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.

Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

This did not help. If I can't get this fixed very soon, I will be reverting back to Internet Explorer, and doing away with Firefox, which is a shame because I have been with you guys for years, but with the latest update, I can no longer use this browser with easy as I had before, because of the above mentioned problem.

Did you make sure that you keep cookies?

Does that happen after you close and restart Firefox?

Yes I have done everything you asked me to try, and it still doesn't work. It get's frustrating everytime I go to a site like, UPS or FED-Ex and it asks me what country I'm in "like I'm setting it up for the first time". I have gone back to using IE, since I do not have time to troubleshoot your browser. I run my business, as well as 2 websites, and I have already spent too much time on trying to fix this problem.
