I really like using firefox but this week i cannot open my emails or delete them in hotmail. i can log in okay but cannot go beyond that. if i switch over to ie...it is okay. i have deleted cookies and updated firefox

There have been problems reported with Hotmail, possibly related to Hotmail rolling out a server change at their end.
