I just started getting this error when a page is loading on my blogger blog.

"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

Script: resource://firebug_rjs/lib/css.js:558"

I click the "Stop Script" button and the screen goes white. After I open the task manager the page returns but with the same error. I have to click the "Stop Script" button again before the problem leaves until I refresh or go to another page.

It is not 100% of the time but very frequently.

I am using Windows XP SP3, FF 7.01, FB 1.8.3

Hi RichGifts-

It seems that there is a script on the page, within the website code for your blog. Firebug is just detecting what is there. In order to resolve this issue it would require editing the blogger website page, and identifying the script that is causing this issue. Hope that helps.

That can be a problem with the Firebug extension.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
