in FF7- Is there way to save tabs before I close FF window?
I have several FF windows running, each with a dozen or so related tabs open. I want to save the web addresses of the open tabs in each window so that I can reopen each window and its tabs at a future time (I am doing research; each window is on a topic, and all open tabs in that window are related to that topic. Having multiple FF windows open with lots of tabs in each is slowing my system, but I need to get back to them at a later time.)

See https://support.mozilla.com/questions/889049 I would not try to save a session forever, you will lose it sooner or later, not something I would ever count on.
Bookmarking your references, or saving titles and links would be a lot better though. You can bookmark all your tabs into a new folder. See

Thank you dmcritchie.
Actually, I only want to save them for a day or so, and if I lose them, oh well. I didn't want to bookmark all the pages (tabs) because opening ~50 of them back up using bookmarks is a time-consuming process. Also, I don't need or want to keep them long-term.
I am looking for a solution whereby I can quickly restore several open windows and all the tabs that were open in those windows at my last session. If you have any other suggestions, I'd love to hear them!
Thanks again.
maybe you should try this:
thank you

Do you mean "bookmark All Tabs"?
- "Bookmark All Tabs" (Shift+Ctrl+D) no longer shows in the Bookmarks menu unless you open the Bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
- "Bookmark All Tabs" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of a tab on the tab bar.
