I wish to move the preferences from my desktop (Mac) to my new laptop. I cannot find the preferences folder to copy onto a flash drive.

I use Windows but presumably there is a similar procedure on a Mac, and firefox will offer to open your profile folder where all this information is stored if you use the troubleshooting option.
