My firefox browser will not load any websites. all other browsers work fine. I run AVG antivirus and IOBit Malware Fighter.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling FF. I have also added exceptions for firefox under the Identity protection and potentially unwanted programs sections in AVG. Please Help!

Check if your firewall cause this : Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet

try to uninstall avg (& include the "remove all user settings" option) & install it again afterwards if you suspect something has gone wrong with the configuration...

or you could try a different antivirus program - ms security essentials is quite reliable and lightweight for example...
