what is going on???? MY screen goes up and down out of control when I move the cursor and enlarges and shrinks when I move the cursor across the screen.

when I move the cursor up or down the screen literally flies up or down. When I move the cursor across the scree it enlarges or shrinks.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You may also have a (hardware) problem with the mouse or the mouse driver.
