I am trying to set up sync on a new computer. I have an account, it is enabled on my other pc. Now I want to add this new device, but I have no "I don't have the device with me. button"

I did it according to this guide https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-a-device-to-firefox-sync#w_how-do-i-add-a-device-when-im-not-near-my-computer

Set up sync... > I have an account > I don't have the device with me isn't there

Strange, I wonder why not? In case the problem is an interfering add-on, you could try doing it in Firefox's Safe Mode.

First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)

Next, restart Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode (Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode) using

Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

In the Safe Mode dialog, do not check any boxes, just click "Continue in Safe Mode."

Does the dialog appear correctly? If so, it could indicate a problem with an add-on or custom setting.
