Firefox 19 breaks download status
One very useful feature for me in Firefox was the download progress in the status bar (I find the status bar invaluable so I use status4evar to show it). It used to very helpfully show messages such as "9 minutes remaining..."
It was great to be able to easily and simply see at a glance how long I needed to wait before attempting another download. But for some weird reason this has been removed in Firefox 19 and replaced by a dumb and very unhelpful down-arrow icon. So I now have to mess about and waste time by loading the file download window. I really cannot understand why a useful feature like this would be removed.
Can anyone tell me how to get the old useful information back?

Here is the Status-4-Evar support thread over at MozillaZine.

The answer may already be posted there a page or two before the one which opens from that link. If not, ask there as the author of S-4-E monitors that thread to provide support.

Thanks Edmeister! Under Tools > Addons > Status-4-Evar in the Download tab "Always show the button text" was unchecked. Don't know how that happened ; I didn't change it. Glad to have the text back - thanks again!
