did terrible things. now I can only find my bookmarks.htm file. Can I restore my bookmarks from that?

made a huge mess of things but long story short, I do subscribe to a cloud-based backup service and yet all I can seem to find is my .htm file of my bookmarks (the correct file only contains bookmarks from AFTER I skillfully wiped out my hard drive, which is useless to me).

All of your important Firefox data is (was) stored under this path:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Any chance that was included in your backup?

I actually did eventually find an answer online and fixed the problem, but thank you!
