Change Title Bar color/background
I do not like the aereo/transparent background on the Firefox (ver. 22) title bar, I would rather have it a solid color /opaque not transparent. I have used themes but this changed everything except the title bar. I heard there is a way to change the title bar background color without changing the overall Windows 7 theme. Appreciate any assistance with this problem.
Thanks

Titlebars etc. are controlled by the system and therefore cant be changed.
Once again Firefox alienates users!
How would it be if a housebuilder sold you a house and you could never change the initial paintjob.
To have to hack the registry is not acceptable.
You have one of the most configurable products out there so why the hell have you not given people a means of changing these STUPID settings.
I have resisted moving to Chrome but you are forcing me to serious consider going because believe it or not, I need to be able to actually see a toolbar.
If you have the Firefox menu button visible then you should be able to change the color of the title bar with code in userChrome.css

I upgraded to 25.1.0 and all of a sudden my menu bar looks like the below image. Driving me nuts trying to find a fix. Why on earth would anyone pick that as my default and my not being able to change it? Makes no sense.
You can try to find a solid theme (persona) with a color that suits you. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/themes/solid
I did find an acceptable solution in "Themes", but... Was there something wrong with my installation of FF that produced such a wonky text-on-background, or is that in fact what is the default look?
I'm feeling a bit of a wanker right now, in that I've been using FF for some years now and was not aware of "Themes." Are they something new?
Cor-el: Thanks for your help. Much appreciated. I should have asked here BEFORE I spent much time trying to figure it out on my own.

Were (are) you using a custom theme or do you run Firefox in Private Browsing mode?
