I frequently work with Inspector in firefox and I want to save changes(atleast those I make in direct html or css code) to my source code. Is this possible with any add-on or some in-built option in firefox?

I'm afraid to tell Inspector is a tool for web developers designed to live test changes in a web code (for example, to test different combinations of cols / size in a website without saving - loading - saving - loading).

Not to edit source code. So if you want to edit a website and save canges, you'll need to get some tools like KompoZer (http://www.kompozer.net/).

You should be able to save changes made in the Style editor locally.
