Firefox 32.0 just barely started with the first build (often six to twelve Beta builds for a version) on the Beta development channel as Firefox 31.0 was only just released on July 22.

If you got a update to 32.0b1 then you are on the Beta channel due to having installed a Beta build as a Release will not give you a update to a Beta build, only Releases and updates for the Releases.
