I recently received this email saying I won over 1 million dollars from Mrs. Stella Martins on-line co-ordinater. Is this spam?

Those type of messages want to get your information and are sometimes used to steal your identity. And in some cases, your home and property.
I got the same email. So it is bull, right?? Same guy Fred Bernard, he ends up asking for money to send you your check, insurance and delivery charges of $145.00. I knew it was too good to be true!!!
Can I forward the emails to some one, maybe you can catch him and stop him. I even asked for proof and he sent some.
Please help??

It is a hoax or scam as variants of this fake email has been around for over three years now.
