Firefox loads very slow (30-40 seconds) on Fedora 20 x86_64. During the loading a zombie process [firefox] defunct is present in the process list. UPD: Safe mode does not help, neither does reseting firefox settings. UPD: Problem appeared again after reinstalling OS.

Please also try to disable temporarily all plugins to make sure it is not one there. Quick fixes if your Firefox slows down - how did this help?
