My FF Bookmarks are being destroyed daily! I had them neatly organised into subfolders, but every day (or more) they are unordered, some bookmarks moved out of folders and many completely lost. I have not installed any new plugins, and the only event of any sort was that I synced with a new Linux Mint installed on my laptop, but I have not booted up that laptop for days and it keeps happening, even 'though I keep restoring from a known good backup. Does anyone please have any ideas?

Such issues can be caused by Sync, so if you use Sync then then best is to disconnect Sync for now.

You may need to repair the places.sqlite database file.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
