After booting up and getting my desk top I get a Firefox message "couldn't load XPCOM" and cannot get any further. Phone

You may have to delete the Firefox program folder to make sure that no files are leftover after uninstalling in case other (security) software keeps a handle on some files.
- (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"

DO NOT remove your profiles. - 3 After, reboot the computer. Then run the full installer.
