Importing bookmark folder contents from Chrome?

I'm on a PC and trying to import my bookmarks from Chrome into Firefox. When I do it as instructed, it imports bookmark folders, but not the contents. So for example, if I had a bookmark folder in the bookmarks toolbar in Chrome, and called it "Sports" and filled it with a bunch of sports websites, and I imported that folder into Firefox, it imports only the "Sports" folder but the folder is empty and none of the sites contained in the folder carried over. How do I fix this??

You can do a 2-step process,

See - Export bookmarks from Chrome on this page - https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/96816?hl=en

Then to import that file into Firefox see this - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-bookmarks-html-file
