My computer was left on all night . This morning all my files/folders have disappeared. I am just left with inbox, trash, sent items etc. I restarted my computer. No luck. I used a program called RECUVER to get back some of the files and saved it to the desktop. Why did this happen and how do retrieve my lost files?

I would suggest you check your anti virus logs for deletion and quarantine activity.
