Norton toolbar still does not work on my win 8.1 computer with firefox 49.0, however it works just fine on my labtop win vista computer. Why?

Problem solved. Norton toolbar was not checked in tab.

You are talking about two different computer systems.

Same version of Norton? Same version of the toolbar extension?

Note it is Symantec that supports Firefox with their Norton extensions and not the other way.
