I'd like to delete my history as I have in the past on Firefox closing. For whatever reason, it won't let me check the box: "Clear history when Firefox closes". It's set for "Use custom settings for history"; "Always use private browning mode" and "Not to accept 3rd party cookies".

This is a 1st for me... Any workaround for this???

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
