Password / login prompt dialog boxes too small / not resizeable
Several sites I visit require passwords to login. Firefox correctly remembers the username/password, but the resultant dialog box is too small to show the customary two buttons; something like "OK" or "CANCEL".... The dialog box is only tall enough to show the username & password boxes (with asterisks) with some space below- just not enough to click in response. I've been working around it by clicking in the pre-filled password box and simply hitting <Enter>
The box isn't resize-able, and dom.disable_window_open_feature.resizable is already set to TRUE. I'm using Firefox v50.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you have a theme installed in Firefox? If so, try the Default Theme in the Add-ons Manager > Appearance.
I'm not using any themes. Current theme verified as 'default 50.0'
Please provide a screenshot of that.
See this support article.
How do I create a screenshot of my problem?
It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
You may have corrupt xulstore.json or Localstore.rdf file.
Close Firefox. Open your file browser to this hidden location:
- Mac: *~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/
- Linux: *~/.mozilla/firefox/
- Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
- *C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\
Locate the above files. Then rename or delete them. Restart Firefox.
