Member of a Google Group. When I send a message to the group, I do not receive the message in my in box.
Formerly used Outlook. When I sent a message to the Google Group, as a member of the group, I received the message in my Inbox. Now with Thunderbird, I no longer receive the message in my Inbox. It's only in "sent."

Using Google for your mail? It sounds like it as that is how Google mail works.
Sorry! I didn't specify that I'm using Gmail with Thunderbird. It seems strange that I'm a member of a Google Group but don't receive messages that I post on the group.
