I updated to the latest version of Firefox; Quantam and it is absolutely lousy; slow; and unusable; what is the problem?

Sorry to hear you're running into issues using the latest version of Firefox. If you want to get back to using an older version, you can find the instructions for doing so here: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/install-older-version-of-firefox

Alternatively, you could try refreshing the browser using these instructions: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

I did not find the reply from Vesper helpful; no disrespect. The maize of steps required are vague and not straight forward.

What I would really like please is a Step 1; Step 2; Step 3 guide to reinstalling version 56.0. Then I will have my life back and I would be very happy to work with the Mozilla team in order to remedy the issues as I am now using Internet Explorer, which I cannot stand, because version 57.0 so messed up my computer function.
