Okay, there is also an HSTS flag for discordapp.com is built into Firefox. To bypass that you could try this:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste transp and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the network.stricttransportsecurity.preloadlist preference to switch the value from true to false

I don't know whether that will resolve the issue immediately or whether you need to remove the file again.

You could contact OpenDNS support about why they aren't applying your exceptions. Or maybe you can just allow the whole chat/instant messaging category if this account is under your control?

Sorry, I don't know how you administer your OpenDNS account settings. Is it something you set up on your computer or is it maybe a feature of your router?
